Week 2: Adventures in Archaeology

Students will embark on an exciting journey of discovery and exploration into the captivating world of anthropology. Through interactive and hands-on activities, our “adventurers” will investigate the methods through which people glean insights into ancient history. Students will excavate and uncover make-shift fossils, piecing together the “mysteries of the past” to gain a deeper understanding of the present.

Event Schedule:
WEEK 2 July 8-12 Adventures in Archaeology

• 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. (early drop-off starts at 8:30; late pick-up until 3:30)
• 2 daily snacks provided; students bring a packed lunch
• All materials provided and included in the camp fee
• Cross-curricular activities including reading and writing centers, math games, and hands-on science experiments
• Focus on team building, collaboration, and communication through learning and play
• Daily mindfulness routines
